The NordicTrack C2000 Treadmill is the one of the newest in a long series of treadmill. The C2000 is sturdy, strong and is easily usable for anyone of any weight up to 21 stone (135kg), whether just for keeping fit or for a serious workout.

Any user will find the NordicTrack C2000 treadmill simple to use as it has a control console which can change the belts speed or incline with just one touch for each. The belt is powered up by a reasonable quiet 2.0 HP motor and the belt is 50cm x 152cm with speed options from 0mph up to 12.4 mph and goes from flat up to a 12% incline.
The C2500 comes with 15 programs of workouts which are all 5 weight loss, 5 performance and 5 Aerobic which will all cover different inclines, speeds which will allow you to choose whatever you wish to improve and they are also available for heart rate control.
For the heart rate control you get a included chest heart rate sensor that can be used continually for a accurate heart-rate reading displayed directly on the console.
However if your are not interested in using the chest belt the console does have a pulse grip sensors built in with the hand rails, though not as accurate, this is a nice extra.
On the rest of the console there is a universal dock with a integrated USB connection for a Ipod (which will also charge your Ipod) and also built in speakers for music while you workout, also for those who workout till they are hot or are in a warm room, there is also a built in fan to help cool you down. Of all the treadmills we’ve looked at, this has the best looking console as its simple and looks good and has everything you could need while working out.

The treadmill also has a slot for Ifit cards, which contain structured workouts which cover a average of a 8 week time frame and they cover: weight loss, general health and improving fitness. During these workouts you will get vocal feedback through the speakers.
When running it is always useful to feel less of a impact with each stride/step, the Nordic Track C2000 treadmill comes with Durastridetm adjustable Slide cushioning built in just under the belt. There are 3 settings of cushioning and this gives the C2000 a reduced joint impact of 19%, 23% or 26% better than running on a road.
